What we do
We provide aerial photography and drone videography for real estate listings, commercial brand work, construction documentation, events, hospitality, 360° virtual tours, nature and landscape, and editorial assignments. Every shoot includes FAA Part 107 certified piloting, $1M aviation liability insurance, LAANC airspace authorization handling, professional editing, and digital delivery — without separate line items for any of these.
For specific service categories see our real estate drone, aerial photography, drone videography, and construction monitoring pages. For pricing across all categories, see our pricing page.
Credentials
Service area
We service all of LA County without travel surcharges. Travel beyond LA County is quoted as a separate line item.
Beyond LA County we cover San Diego, the Bay Area, and Central California with travel quoted upfront. For neighborhood-specific service details see Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood, and Pasadena.
How we work
Three operational principles that show up in every project:
- Transparent pricing. Quotes are fixed numbers, not ranges. Inclusions are listed in writing. There are no hidden travel, LAANC, license-upgrade, or rescheduling fees in our packages. Our 2026 pricing guide walks through exactly what is included at each tier.
- Pre-shoot LAANC handling. Most of LA is controlled airspace. We file LAANC requests in advance — not on the morning of the shoot — so airspace is not a same-day variable. Our LAANC guide covers what this involves.
- Reliable turnaround. Photo within 24 hours, edited video within 48 hours. Same-day rushes available. We deliver against the timeline quoted; if conditions change the schedule, you hear about it as soon as we know.
Approach to airspace and safety
LA County is the most operationally complex airspace footprint in the United States — five major airports projecting overlapping controlled-airspace rings, plus the daily reality of LAX traffic, film-production-related TFRs, and post-event flight restrictions. We treat airspace authorization as a precondition, not an afterthought. Every flight is filed correctly, every LAANC request is verified before the shoot is on the calendar, and every operation respects the FAA Part 107 rules around line-of-sight, altitude, people-on-the-ground, and TFRs.
For projects that need operations outside the LAANC envelope — Class B inner cores, BVLOS, over-crowd, extended night operations — we coordinate manual Part 107 waivers with appropriate lead time built into the project timeline.
Who we work with
Real estate agents and brokerages, hospitality and venue marketing teams, construction project managers and general contractors, production companies, editorial photographers, brand campaign producers, and architectural and landscape design teams. Many engagements are recurring — bi-weekly construction monitoring retainers, monthly hospitality content cadences, weekly listing-driven real estate work for active LA agents.
Approach to the work
Aerial photography is technical work that gets read as art. We treat it as both. The technical part — airspace, equipment, post-production pipeline, file specs — is invisible when done well, frustrating when done badly. The artistic part — composition, light, narrative, visual hierarchy — is what makes the difference between an aerial that documents a property and one that sells it. Our process is calibrated to deliver both, on the timelines that LA real estate, commercial, and production work actually run on.
Editorial standards
We maintain a blog covering airspace, pricing, hiring criteria, location-specific drone work, and industry practice. Articles are written to be useful to people considering drone work — not to gate information behind contact forms. See the blog for guides on LAANC airspace, 2026 LA drone pricing, hiring criteria, and specific LA shoot locations.
Sister business
Azyumba Drone is the aerial-photography sub-brand of Azyumba Media, a broader LA-based media production company covering ground photography, video production, post-production, and editorial. Drone work and ground production are often booked together — same shoot day, coordinated lighting and shot list, integrated deliverable set.
